Josh Blankinship

Development Coach

Josh is a graduate of Anderson High School (2000) and Ball State University (2004), where he majored in Physical Education. In 2010, he earned a Masters of Education degree from Olivet Nazarene University with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction. In December 2022, he completed his administrators license through Indiana Wesleyan University.

Josh and his wife, Jill, who is a nurse at Major Hospital in Shelbyville, Indiana have been married since July of 2006. Their boys, Noah and Lucas both carry a passion for basketball and bass fishing much like their dad. Their family loves to vacation in Northern Michigan at their families lake house in Mesick, Michigan on the Manistee River.

Coach Blankinship has been an integral part of several basketball programs as an assistant coach at Madison-Grant, Anderson, New Albany and Columbus North Men’s Basketball Programs and was the Men’s head basketball coach at Milan High School (2009-2018). He is eager and passionate about having an opportunity to lead the young men associated with the DistinXion program.
